The Moss liquefaction system is based on the proven Moss liquefaction system, and enhanced in capacity and efficiency, to match the requirements for installation on LNG Floating Production, Storage and Offloading vessels (FPSOs) or Floating Liquefied Natural Gas vessels (FLNGs).

Simplicity and compactness are primary design objectives for the plant. Furthermore, the well proven and simple nitrogen cycle provides reliable cooling for liquefaction of the natural gas. The system’s compact footprint allows LNG carrier retrofit designs as well as newly-built designs for the most cost-effective construction.

The Moss FLNGs feature the Moss LNG tanks, which have an unbeaten track record of reliability making them perfect candidates for offshore FLNG projects where partial fillings and sloshing are expected. Moss FLNG designs are available in various configurations and can be tailored to specific project requirements.
